The Fund endeavors to provide the best possible benefits for union members when they retire.The Fund offers the following for its participants:
In order to participate in the UFW Pension Fund, an employer must have a collective bargaining agreement with a CWA local union. Participation must be on an all-inclusive basis for the bargaining unit employees (no one can be excluded). All contributions to the Fund are made by the employer. The Fund does not accept individual contributions. The contribution rates can be submitted based on a percentage of gross payroll, flat rate per month, or on the basis of cents per hour worked.
